Dry Petals (Musical Muse)

Years have gone by
My rose petals cry
So I put them away
That way won’t die

In a love verse inserted
To hold your love forever
Don’t you think it was hard
When they started to cry

How can they not suffer
When my heart was broken
Hurt to end
Where hopeless love is sent

Petals now in closed verses stay
Drying away yesterdays
petals fade away
In yellow pages they will stay..

Memories of Yesterday

 (Musical muse)

I remember yesterday
How love was true
Where my dreams
Slept within you

Yesterdays were the days
Yes they were the days
Where  my heart praised
Your lovely  ways

Each morning
A flower grew
I’d  picked it up
to  give it to you

You’d smile
And kiss me
A token of love
In treasured dreams

The birds sang a tune
We shared the white moon
With love in our hearts
Converted in illusions

I remember yesterday
How love was true
Where my dreams
Slept within you

Yesterdays were the days
Yes they were the days
Where  my heart praised
Your lovely  ways
