Woman of sand

 I became sand
 woman of sand not  man
body and my heart
All fell down..
Little by little the wind
blew each grain
dissolving me
Into nothing to be
The particles scattered
departing the sand
 no one was there
To hold my hand
So me my heart
And I
Dissolved high in the sky
leaving me never to be
Only the wind
Whispered my return
 as it followed me
the  lonely sun burned

Why does a flower grow without rain
a abandoned dog in pain
an elder no company a shame
a child in war no peace
where people live then die
does any hear their cry

Why is life so unfair
to those who choose suicide
ignoring whose at their side
emotions all untied

Why the homeless in the streets
no one there to meet
drugs the consolation
their love and melody

The world a sad condition
where ignorance is the light
a blind conditioned sight
the world turning not right

Where Young Girls Cry

There's no bridge
where tears don't dry
to cross over
where I like to cry..

Things there aren't fair
where young girls play
on cold nights
in the midnight air

On empty streets
where no one goes
the bridge smiles
to the lonely souls

So going back
is a lonely road
but up all night
is being bold

Just keep a singing
on the country bridge
where young girls dream
that love is real..

Muse & Lyrics

Remember the day
I told you
I love you
that the gray skies
fell over my head

That the world seem lovely
and how the birds flew away
while the breeze kept me at ease
when you were at my side

Remember how I dreamed
beautiful things
emotional travel
through a beautiful valley

Remember I said
it was forever
my love for you
would never end
it all was true

Musing in Lyrics

If I could dance with the rain
my love would be the same
If I could sing a new tune
I'd sing about you

If I could sleep in your dreams
I could hold you so tight
for to live in your love
makes my world so bright

If I could see you again
I would live in heaven
If I could touch your sweet lips
my heart would be rich

Because love makes me feel
like this world is so real
but to live without love
is to live without peace....

Love Never Dies

I like a flower
would die
on a lonely night
I wouldn't survive
without your
lovely smile
I wouldn't exist
without your kiss
and as the clouds
pass me by
I can't see why
love never dies

She's Like the Dark

by Lynda Ferrer
All Rights reserved on song and photo/CR

She's Like the Dark

Dark as the wind goes
dark as the night
dark as her heart beats
searching for light

She's likes the dark
who wanders alone
nowhere to live
ain't got no home

She wanders where no one knows
don;t meet nobody
don't have no clothes
just wants to go home

She's likes the dark
who wanders alone
nowhere to live
an't got no home
