Cocooned (Poem)

Leaves fall
Wind calls
Raindrops crawl
I stall

 Butterfly escapes
Under a tree
I decide to go
Under its wings

Hide from life
lay in protection
 wings  fragile
I in deception

Cool to feel
 tenderness revealed
Under velvet wings
Thin as dreams

Deep I sleep
As the butterfly keeps
Wings above
Cover loved

Not  the mood
Back to life
Not delight

I’ll  remain
Under wings
Beneath the moon
 stay  cocooned.
